WHITE FLASH

WHITE FLASH
White Flash was Tex Ritter’s horse throughout the 1930s and 1940s. During the years that Ritter worked with Grand National and Monogram, he used different studio horses all dubbed “White Flash,” but in 1941 Ritter decided to find a permanent White Flash. Eventually he bought White Flash from Jerome Eddy, an Arizona horseman. Glenn Randall trained the horse, and Ritter used it for his remaining films and personal appearances. White Flash’s career ended in 1952 with Ritter’s tour of Europe.
